In the Physiotherapy Department , we are involved in Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment of patients by hands-on therapy such as graded Peripheral and Vertebral Joint Mobilization, Manipulation, Exercises and Stretching, with assistance from a fully equipped Electro-therapy and Exercise therapy unit for treating physical disorders, disability, pain relief and promoting physical health.
We are treating patients of various conditions related to neurological dysfunction, musculo skeletal dysfunction , various post operative surgical conditions involving general surgeries, cardio-thoracic surgeries & renal transplants , internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetric and gynecology and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
We have also 24 X 7 In-patient Physiotherapy protocol for all Intensive care units and Wards. In addition, we play an important role in palliative & geriatric care.
Here we are treating variety of cases such as Cervical Spondylosis , Lumbar Spondylosis , Disc Prolapsed, PA shoulder, Arthritis, Post Fracture stiffness, Joint Replacement, Sports Injuries, Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, Cerebral Palsy, Neuropathies & Myopathies. Post-Polio Residual Paralysis, Bell's Palsy and Pain management.
The Department has an Ante- natal and Post- natal exercise program for pregnant ladies where we educate them with respect to child birth , post- natal complications and body conditioning.
In PVT. Sector Hospitals in Delhi only our department offer the Community Physiotherapy Services and Spinal injury physiotherapy rehabilitation also provided the service for the Cerebral Palsy and Post polio Residual paralysis management.
We provide a successful ongoing Internship Program for Physiotherapy Under Graduates since last 10 years and Clinical Postings for Post Graduate students with specialization in various fields, which is well organized and recognized by number of Indian universities, Indian Association Of Physiotherapist and Delhi Council Of Physiotherapy
