Urology is a branch of medicine that focuses conditions of the male and female urinary tract systems. We deal with subspecialties in urology, including Pediatric urology,Urologic oncology,Sexual medicine,Genitourinary reconstruction

Conditions routinely treated in our department include
  • Frequent urinary tract infections
  • Inability to control urination (urinary incontinence)
  • Blood in the urine (hematuria)
  • Conditions of the male reproductive system, including benign prostate hyperplasia┬а(BPH, or enlarged prostate)
  • Interstitial cystitis (bladder infection)
  • Erectile dysfunction (ED)
  • Kidney stone
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Congenital urinary tract issues (problems of the urinary tract present since birth)
  • Cancers of the bladder, kidneys and prostate
MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY(LAPAROSCOPIC/ENDOSCOPIC)
  • Ureteroscopy for ureteric stones/PCNL for kidney stones
  • TURP (Transurethral resection of the prostate) for prostate hypertrophy
  • Holmium LASER for large prostate
  • RIRS for small ureteric and renal stones
  • Optic internal urethrotomy and urethroplasty for stricture urethra
  • Laparoscopic pyeloplasty for PUJ obstruction
  • Laparoscopic nephrectomy for non functioning kidney
  • Stenting/PCN for obstructive uropathy
DIAGNOSTIC ARM
  • Dynamic studies, Cystometry and Urine flow tests
  • Imaging tests such as pyelogram, cystography, CT scan or Ultrasound of the kidney, prostate/rectal sonogram and renal angiogram
